This Weekends Lazy Playlist

Having started a new job after finishing college recently also meant waking up at 6.a.m each morning and getting home just before 6.p.m absolutely shattered. Doing this five days a week means I treasure weekends more than ever right now…

Being able to sleep in a little longer and slowly get ready for the day has been so so nice and while doing that, music is a crucial part of the morning of course. I’m one to listen to any and every kind of music so there will always be a right mixture of songs popping up on this weekends playlist.
Although i’m not going to go through every song on there as that would take hours, I do want to point out a particular few that I’ve really loved throughout the week.

Ed, Ed and more Ed…

Expect a lot of Ed Sheeran. Although I’ve always enjoyed his music, his recent album made me fall in love with every track and I am so very happy to say that after a long and stressful 40 minutes waiting in the Amazon Tickets que online, this morning I was lucky enough to get my hands on some tickets to see him in Cardiff next summer. I know it’s not exactly soon but nevertheless I am over the moon! Some of my favourites from the album are Perfect, Nancy Mulligan and Barcelona.

A Throwback or two …

Some of my favourite songs are always the ones you can sing along to (not that my voice is great) so Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield has been very much on repeat this week. Another throwback has been Faith Hill’s There You’ll Be. Songs like these put me in such an amazing mood as soon as I hear them and I think everyone has to have a little sing along to them once in a while.

And more…

Most Girls by Hailee Stenfeld is another recent favourite. After watching the video, I realised the song has such a powerful message for a lot of girls around the world so if you haven't already seen it, it’s worth giving it a watch.

Harry styles’ Sweet Creature is a song I have been a little in love with since his album come out earlier in the year. It’s such a special song it puts you in such a calm mood it’s worth a listen.

You’ll also notice Blackbear on there who I recently discovered and love a lot of his music as well as some other songs from the current charts and probably a few more random songs that I’ve also been loving. There aren't a lot of songs on there this week as I definitely have been listening to these over and over much more than I probably should have haha.
