Life Lately - A New Chapter

The past couple of months have been hectic to say the least… It was exam season which had only finished a couple days ago also meaning I am officially done with A Levels and Sixth Form (kind of). I cannot even begin to explain how quickly the last two years have flown by, seeing my younger brother leave school and everyone having their Prom made me realise how it feels as if that was me just recently; when in reality it’s been a WHOLE two years!!

Finishing A Levels felt so good but I’m not quite off to uni just yet. My last-minute change in career choice means I don't have all the qualifications I need - also meaning a third year at college will be necessary.

Although I wish more than anything that I could be off to uni this September, I am also a little glad that things worked out the way they did as it means I have just over a year to prepare myself and keep visiting uni open days to see exactly where I want to go although my heart is set on Bath or Bristol at the minute (but it’s quite clear I’m a tad indecisive so it can all change). This would also mean moving out next year, which also means a whole new city and new people. Considering I cant exactly say I’m someone who loves change, this actually excites me so so much!

Having an extra year at college also means I’ll only be attending around two or three days a week leaving a ton of spare time aside. I plan on finally doing driving lessons alongside a part- time job, with the aim of passing before Christmas. It’s something I am so determined on doing now that exams are over and it would be so handy to drive once Uni starts.

Blog-wise, a lot more spare time also means a lot more posts. I think it’s quite clear that I haven’t been the most consistent with my posts in the last couple months but it’s something that’s been on my mind constantly. I have many content ideas and i can’t wait to get back into it this summer.

Other plans include a possible trip to Disney in Paris for a couple day later this summer as well as a planned trip to Devon for just under a week with my family. I also can’t wait for whatever else pops up along the way and it’s safe to say I am SO very excited for everything coming up.

  4. Sounds like so many great plans : ) I think taking some time and figuring out what you really want early on is a much better option than wasting time with a degree you are not excited about, so go you!
